MEHRAN
Tori always says that the show must go on.
Wed July 8
Dean's accident gave us all a real scare! Even though he always assured Tori (and the rest of us) that the track is the safest place to ride (or to crash), the accident still brought Tori's deepest fears and concerns to a head. It made the sense of risk and fatality she associates with the sport even more tangible. It hit too close to home and made her start to think about the worst-case scenarios.
Also, I think Tori had reached a point where she no longer felt comfortable speaking to Dean about all of this. She had voiced her concerns many times, but it always became a point of contention with no resolution in sight. I know she doesn't want to be the wife who forces her husband to give up something he's so passionate about, but I also know she won't be able to function on a daily basis wracked with anxiety and fear about her husband's well-being due to his hobby.

It seems you are very important in both Tori and Deans life. I think the show is great. I have read both of Tori's books and they are just as great. Both Tori and Dean seem to be as normal as normal can get. They deal with the same issues as anyone else who are married with children. You being there for Tori all these years is important. I have a friend who has been my best friends since the age of 12. I am 37. She is very important in my life. She is my rock. You seem to be Tori's. I think it's great that Dean takes your advice and accepts you as one of her close friends. It's important to keep someone close ALWAYS in your life.
Mehran, after watching this episode, I need to repeat what I said to you in the blog a few weeks ago. You are a very important grounding force for Tori. And now, after this week, it is evident, that you have that impact on Dean and the family as well.
There is such a great story here. Every couple should have a balancer, a little angel sitting on their shoulder, a buffer. While it would be great to have your husband/wife/signifant other as your only confidante, sometimes you need a different perspective...you bring such a cool aspect to this show.
By the way, the look you gave on last week's episode when the "Jumpetts" were performing again was classic! It made me laugh out loud!
I just wanted you to know that I am very glad you had that talk with Dean. I shared on Dean's blog that I just lost a friend, the dad of two little ones to the same sport, my friend lied on a hospital bed for a year, his body slowly shutting down, it was a horrible thing for his family to have to go through, now they dont have a father or a husband.
When a parent has little ones it is the responsible thing to do not to put themselves in harm's way or dangerous situations.
I am so happy he finally made the right decision.
Mehran, you and Tori design absolutely amazing jewelry!! I have 5 pieces and I'm continuing the collection. Can you tell me if the gold necklace that Tori wore in the episode with the Potty Dance is still available to purchase? I love that look and really would like to buy it. Please, please let me know:) I also agree with Little Quincy that you need to appear on HSN too!! We all wish we had a gay husband like you!!
Dawn
Mehran - You NEED to be on HSN with Tori!!! You're a doll and it's so much fun to watch the two of you together. It's no fun sitting behind the camera on the HSN set. WE ALL WANT TO SEE YOU TOO!!! Please, please, please. You'll sell even more jewelry. I promise!!!!
You are one of the best parts of this show. You are very calming and a true gentleman. Get your hot toddy on the HSN set ASAP!!! We'll be waiting to hear your views/ideas about how the jewelry was created, what outfit it would look good with and hear your opinion about fashion. We value your opinion!
And never, ever settle. You deserve the best. Now get out there and hustle. xoxo :)
How thoughtful of you Mehran! The job of talking Dean was only possibly by you (other than Tori herself) as you have the history with Tori and knowing her more than anyone including Dean. I am glad you decided to take action. I am a big fan!
Mehran, you are such a great friend to Tori, and I'm so glad you talked to Dean. He needed it. I wish you would speak to my hubby on my behalf and knock some sense in to him. He's been a real pain in my ass lately and I could use your sweet candor and intervention. LOL! We all wish we had a Mehran in our life!
Mehran,
I love this show, you are so much fun to watch and see all the interation between you and Dean.
Another week that showcased Mehran's beautiful personality and the love and support he has for Tori. Dean definitely needed a talking to and who better to do it than you. You always share such wonderful words of wisdom and from a viewer's perspective I can tell Tori truly appreciates them (I know I do!). When are we going to see you with a love interest? Someone as cute and stylish as you must have plenty of potential mates.
XOXO
Mehran has an amazing perspective for someone who is not even a dad! I am so glad that he talked to Dean...because someone really had to. As a new mom, I appreciate the candor and directness of his comments. You can tell that he really comes from a place of love for Tori and her family.
Tori is lucky to have such a wonderful, head-on-his-shoulders best friend. I always love to see his point of view (not to mention that he is ADORABLE!). I wish I had a Mehran to talk to my hubby!
