GUNCLES

Tori and Dean are very supportive

The "Guncles" are glad to back at our blog this week...

"The Last House on the Left" premiere was a very special and exciting event for us. Scout enjoyed casting the movie, especially because it's the remake of Wes Craven's very first movie... It was an incredible honor.

Tori and Dean are very supportive of their close friends and when Bill got word from Tori about the surprise, he knew it'd be such a nice shock for Scout when she and Mehran showed up! And what a surprise it was! Also, knowing Tori's passion and love for horror films made Scout very excited that they could share the experience of watching it for the very first time together.

I think the two of you are great. Continue as you are, especially with Tori and Dean and the children.
Tori, you have done everything to try to make amends with your mother. Concentrate on what's really important now, your family. You take away time from everyone. Move on and let whatever happens, happen. Dean, you are so supportive with Tori by letting her do what she needs to. Tori, I am glad you stepped back and supported Dean with what he enjoys. Things might happen but it can happen anywhere. Keep your show as real as it is. I feel like I go through everything with the two of you. Look at all the love around you and treasure what you have and not so much on what you don't. I hope your mom comes to her senses but if not, that's her problem.

Dear Guncles,
I posted my first blog to the both of you in regard to adoption on the 27th of July. I hope that you can find it, as it was not posted to your blog. A congratulations are in order for your commitment ceremony and I am writing in regard to Tori's sweet comment that you have a baby in time for Christmas. I am a highly educated women that has made the difficult, however, correct decision to have the miracle that continues to grow everyday......to place that miracle up for adoption. For a supposed educated women, that last sentence was quite the "run on sentence." I am proud of you both for going through the amazingly long process that is required for an adoption. If you desire to be a part of a pregnancy, delivery and have a child that is the both of yours as well as a part of your wonderful family and friends, please respond. Also know that although the wait may be difficult, once the baby is in your arms, you will know that your love, dedication and patience has lead you to the baby that was meant to be yours.

Hi Bill and Scout - just in case the facebook page is a fraud (b/c people are dumb and love doing that), I thought I'd try here. Please help me get this message to Tori!

My daughter has a rare syndrome - Aicardi Syndrome. (You can get information at www.aicardisydrome.org) When she was diagnosed at 4 months old, I was told not to expect her to live very long. She just celebrated her 11th birthday this past February.

July 9-11, 2010 the Aicardi Syndrome Foundation will be holding it bi-annual Family conference in Chicago, IL. I watch Tori's show, have read her 1st book and am about to read her second, watched her on 90210, etc. Needless to say I am a huge fan. However, I am also an admirer of her skills of juggling such a busy career and being a good wife and mom.

Many of our mom's have to juggle careers, non-disabled siblings, doctors' appointments, etc. (For example, personally, I am a teacher, attending college working on my doctorate, being a soccer and volleyball mom to my 17 year old son, taking my daughter to various appts -she has 5 different doctors, and trying to find time for myself.)

I think that Tori would be an excellent role model to have at our "Mother's Tea" that weekend. The conference is actually an informational type conference with breakout sessions on different topics that affect our daughters (the syndrome only affects girls). However, next year we would like to have our first "Mother's Tea". I thought that Tori would be the perfect guest for that. The day of the weekend and time could revolve around her schedule - we would just be honored to have her.

I love you two! You appear to be so genuine and loving. While I have only seen glimpses of you through a reality show, it seems that you are so incredibly well suited to take on the gift of raising a child. Bless you in your new journey.

Hi guys:)
Just wanted to congratulate you on your decision to have a commitment ceremony and adopt!
My husband and I are currently adopting our daughter from China, and we commend you for choosing to bring a child into your loving family.

LOOKING FORWARD TO TONIGHT'S EPISODE AND TO SEE WHAT THE GUNCLES ARE UP TO! I SAW ON TWITTER THAT THEY'RE ANNOUNCING NEWS!!! CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR WHAT IT IS!

You guys - I'm still crying from watching this episode. You're all so lucky to have found each other. True friendship is life's most powerful connection.

XOXO, NICHOLE

"Guncle" Scout - I had no idea that you were a big time Hollywood casting director. Maybe you, Tori and Dean can do more with that in the story. They can do a movie and you can cast it! That would be a fun side of "Hollywood" that we don't get to see here in Alabama!

Cheers - Donna

Haven't watch too many of the shows, but I think I may tune in more often! Sounds interesting!
