Tori's relationship with her Mom is complicated. But I truly believe they have a mutual respect and love for each other. Unfortunately, they've had trouble communicating and connecting. I'm hopeful that they will reconcile soon.
Tori is a quintessential workaholic. She thrives on working on many projects and juggling various responsibilities. Personally, I think she's doing a great job at balancing work and family. Despite her crazy schedule, she finds time to spend time and connect with Stella, Liam and Dean. I don't think "stay at home Mom" is in the cards for her.

Mehran--You and Suzanne are such great friends. I pray everyday that I will find a awesome best friend just like you two and Tori. Watching the show is a must for me. Tori and I have a lot in common. My mother and I do NOT have a great relationship. I do hope that Tori and Candy can reconcile if that is what Tori truly wants. I love seeing you on the show!
Mehran, I don't know if you are watching any of the Candy interviews, if not you should. See the postings by me in the New Years blog by Tori, left links.
Candy is hitting way below the belt & I'm not hopeful they will ever speak. She opened her mouth again this week, it was the lowest of lows.
I do hope that Tori offers a "No comment" about the latest Candy is saying..
Enjoy you on the show. Tori is lucky to have a friend like you.
Mehran, As a mom of a gay son I can honestly say that seeing you in Tori's life makes me happy. Even though I knew gay and lesbian individuals before I had my son, being so close to the community makes me appreciate any and all GOOD public acceptance. Bless Tori for loving you and thank you for putting yourself into the public eye, as I am sure that you could have opted out of the spot light had you wanted to. One final comment about Tori and her mother. She, her mother and a few close friends and family members are all that know what is really happening and it makes me sad to see so many wanting to jump in to tell her what she should or should not do. Give her a hug from me and all those like me who just empathize with the difficulty and wish her the best. It is obvious she has a big heart and tries so hard to be all things to all the people in her life! Thankfully she has good friends around her like you. I want a 'gay husband' too :)
I love that you have been friends with Tori for 20 years. Your friendship is very touching and sweet.
Well said!!! :)
You seem to be a piece to Tori's puzzle...But, as we mature in life, so do our personalities. When a girl gets married and has kids, her character developes into the woman that she becomes. As an outsider looking in, Tori's not done with her mom, yet. I think that Tori will teach many ladies, including her mom, how important the "female familial bond" is. Our "choosen" family is our friends, and our legacy is our blood line. Peace out, Jen
Mehran you are a very wonderful and dedicated friend to Tori, it is no wonder she considers you as part of her family. It would be an honor to have a friend like you. God bless and good luck in all you do.
Hey Mehran - I just wanted to say that Tori, Dean and the kids are blessed to have a friend like you! Can't wait to see the rest of the new season.
mehran-- so glad to see a blog from you. i think it is so important to have a few wonderful friends and i can see that tori adores you and that dean admires and respects you. you have to be a special person to endure all the hardships that come with having a known personality as a friend as well as enjoying the perks. anyone who reads or even watches toris show can see you have been there thru the thick and thin, the joys and the tears oh and yeah a few of toris fears!! i'm sure she tells you all the time but i'm telling you as an outsider you are special and they are truly blessed to call you friend!! keep up the awesome work!!
