I am the mother of an absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and misunderstood, 8-yr-old daughter diagnosed with ADHD. Her teachers think she may have Aspberger's Syndrome, although I have had her tested by 3 independent and reliable "sources" (including an entire team of psychologists) and according to them, she has neither AS or autism. I have my doubts, though. She exhibits the same symptoms that I observed in Heather...yeah, I only saw her on TV, but the similarities are just striking. Actually, those characteristics seemed to make Heather a better model than the other young ladies. No matter what you might hear from various flippant a-holes who think they know EVERYthing, Aspberger's and autism are NOT just labels people give children and teens who are really just "stupid" or hyperactive! Don't be fooled, people. Reject ignorance!

i would like to voice how how this show is just another show that causes youg girls and teenagers to be insacure about them selfs. a pluse size person is not a size 6 but a size 16. most "pluse" size women are healthy and beautyful. today everything makes women and youg girls to feel bad about the way they look and if they are over a size 6 today they are thought to be fat or ugly causing them to lose the weight and be unhelthy just to fit your image of beauty. just telling young girls and women who are bigger that they are still beautyful but show on this show that they have to be a serten size to be beautyfuls like a modle is being a hypocrit. most not all of the women on this show are very ugly a people but cuz they have looks they are looked up to. i think this should be stoped and look at true beauty then fake sorry if i affended anyone

I must admit that this show is very entertaining but I must admit that stefanie is right about a lot of the women on this show being ugly on the inside. The marathon that is on today reminded me of that when that "former anorexic" girl, Allison, started stuffing tissue in a black Barbie's pants and saying that it had a lot of junk in its trunk because it's black. When she did that racist stuff she wasn't just making fun of Fatima, she was insulting all black women. If she wanted to just insult Fatima, then she didn't need to make the blanket statement about black women.
Even more disturbing is that the other girl, Whitney, who ended up winning that season was laughing and didn't see anything wrong with what Allison did. I think that an overweight model (even if she is Caucasian) should be more sensitive to not offending others who are often the targets of jokes and degrading remarks!
Well, as I stated these girls really are ugly on the inside... at least that bigot Allison was kicked off of the show quickly.

I love ANTM but i can't seem to understand why the white girls on that show are so intimidated by the black girls. Every season it is the same thing the white girls against the black girls. Love these shows. Got wrapped up in Italy this summer, having never heard of it before here in the states. Seen all of them, my favorite one being on today, with Tiffany getting the heeve-ho from Tyra and Naima and Kahlen going down that runway at the end. Loved Kahlen (excuse misspells). I could not stand that Ms Keenyah, as she had intellect of lint....loved the 2 at the end and was happy that Naima won, but was rooting for Kahlen, as she was such a novice at beginning and had gone so far. Also thought her look would be more appreciated, Naima's beauty being very exotic. That Lluvy, what were they thinking. One thing I have noticed through the cycles is that those who go in KNOWING they will win, from Jewel to Keenyah, on....always lose. The girls, in the end who win, are those who show, whether they win the competition or not, that they are magnanamous and as they win the weekly run offs, invite all the girls, like Naima. and not just the same ones every time they win .Was disappointed when in the cycle where Allison was there at the end, lost. Thought she was so gorgeous, different and someone all woud watch with those eyes! When she lost, she was so genuine with the winner, also attractive, but not like Allison. Bug goof, guys.The judges...well, Tyra can say that they are famous people, but besides Janice #&@% inson, Twiggy, Paulina Porizkova and maybe Nigel Barker and the occasional guest, the rest are, like WHO???!!! Mole Marin is someone we are supposed to be impressed by? At least the Jay's show what they do, but Nole Marin? I am not in the industry but can see a poser when I see one (being born and bred in New York City makes this happen). Anyway...usually happy with the winners....Ioanna...so amazing! Nicole, so beautiful in a quirky way, but beauty is beauty! Tyra is very impressive. The empire she has created and deems genuinely kind (hope the people on her shows not laughing at me knowing the truth) is so inspirational. I wish, in my field, I had the dicipline and talent she has...I don't know yet about mine. I guess the money helps, plus, it is cool for her to want to help people who would not otherwise get the chance given their backgrounds or geography. I love these marathons here, instead of running home at 12:30 PM in Italy to see the show in Italian (good thing I speak) but in Italian, it takes away the accents, speech patterns, etc. Ie...if they heard how Brandy sounded in English and how she was practically incomprehensible, speaking her language.....they would get the whole thing much more. I felt that in the episode with Jade and Gina, that Gina was really set up by that Janice #&@% enson. I have been watching this for a long time and this specific one twice. I feel that Ms #&@% enson's (or #&@% erson's) actions were deplorable. Gina had been getting it from Jade and then from the botox-lipped Janice. She asked that question to Gina twice so why wouldn't she answer it? Girls like Jade have no feelings and I feel Gina was not given a fair chance. This is the first time I have ever felt like this. I feel that every should be treated fairly and if one of the girls is having a problem, there should be someone she could go to to talk it over. These girls are young and some have never been away from home. Eventually they will be able to fight their own battles but for Janice to tell Gina to "Zip it bitch!" and for Jade to come out smelling like a rose, stinks. I am sorry for being so blunt but Tyra, I have been watching you from the very beginning of your career and I don't think you would ever talk to anyone like that. However, I do love ANTM, especially that Saturday Marathon.

I look, walk and act like a model and when I step into a room every one always wants to know how much I paid for my suit or dress when I buy off the rack for twenty dollars.... I am so happy that... Melrose DID NOT WIN. I thought she was rude, selfish, a big fake and uncaring also drama queen of mean and I am tied of people like that. Hello season twelve judges and Tyra, i have just finished watching your show where Celia was eliminated and felt obejectivily that it was competely a wrong decision and based on pressure by industry standards. Her photos where rich, organic and had natural overriding perrenial beauty that was far more important then her age of twenty five. I feel that i am not the one only one extremely dissapointed in this decision and hope that you can see to reverse it!!! Again this is not a biased opinion but completely objective aside from the wonton age descrimination that was displayed on this show. Thank you for your time and please don't feel as if i am attacking anyone, I just want you to know how your New York based (Brooklyn) audience feels.

In the Bahamas women who are too skinny scare off the guys - they believe that a too skinny girl have aids. Sorry but it is true. The Girl Fatima - she was beautiful but it seem to me that so far the episodes I have watched with girls from Africa that they act as if they know it all and in my country the ones I meet which are a few have the seem atitude hence it becomes a deterence to their advancement and socializing properly with others. They need to be more humble. It does get you to the level you desire in life. I am speaking from experience because I grew up with six siblings in a two room wooden house without any amenities and trust me I have dined with kings and queens literally as well as travelled to places I have dreamed about.

hey I dont know if this would be possible but I thought it would be kinda cool if they had a season dedicated to plus size models on Americas Next Top Model. I think it would help show america that not all women are a size 0, and show that you dont have to be skinny to be pretty. I hope this will show young girls that too.
