My family and I arrived in New York City at 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning from Virginia. The line was not to bad, we went to our hotel to get settled. My two daughters return to the line to camp out to be in the first group to enter when the doors open for the Next Top Model. The crowd grew, there was no directions, there was no order. When daylight arrived all Hell broke loose. All we saw were people running, jumping the lines and the beginings of a riot. What we did not see was police, organizers or someone that was in charge to direct the lines so this mess would not get out of control. I know New York, this is not your first casting call, you should take a lesson from Washington DC. Their lines were orginized. They had guards when we arrived at 6:00 a.m! So arriving in New York in the early morning hours did nothing. I left there very disappointed at the Show, New York, Orginizers and the Hotel Staff. There should have been better crowd control. What a rotten Apple we got that day.

hi i hope this gets to tyra i am from barbados and i would like to see you do a show for plus size models because they are not going to shine against smaller models and most of the judges have a problem with them so please give them a chance to shine and show janice and any other judge that plus size girls can bring it

when is there going to be another audition for new york girls who could have been killed in the unorganized event there?
i have never seen anything so scary, i watch helplessly while my daughter got kicked, punched and thrown around in that mess.
i think tyra should let them send in audition tapes. she will know which one my daughter is ,she can see her on the show most shocking videos we have camera crew coming today to house as well as local news papers.

My daughter attended the auditions in Los Angeles two were picked out of a group of one hundred,there were two agents in the room one of the agents said she really liked her the other however said she was to short,in my opinion this should be considered false advertising,after all the commercial said 5"7'or under and that was right out of Tyras mouth,you wasted a lot of time in having them think they could have the opportunity to be a model.My daughter had to take on the responsibility of taking care of her mother at the age of 18 for the past month has worked 15 hour days to prepare for this audition so she would not have to worry about her mother in case she was picked and the agent said she was to short.,I just want you to know that you have missed out in meeting a very wonderful young woman with exceptional talent and drive, You should be ashamed of yourself I have always had a lot of respect for you and what you convey to your audience but not now

Hello Tyra and directors, I hope that you read this email because it comes from the heart of a mom. My daughter went to your open auditions in L.A on 03-28-09 even when she new that leaving home 12 hrs away would be sad for her. Her and I have watched your show since it first aired years ago and she always said when she got old enough she would try out. In the mean time she continued to work and save to go to one of the events. I told her that I would pay half so that she could go. She was so excited when she found out you were coming to L.A so we booked our flights and hotel room. Right after she booked her flight she found out that her boy friend of a year had testicular cancer and had to start chemo-therapy right away. He was very sick but he wanted her to pursue her dreams so she did not cancel her trip. He would not let her. So she went and made it through the second round making freinds along the way and thought she had a chance to make it to the third round.it that room the gentle man said remember it is all about personality. So she walked up and said her name,weight and height as with as much personality as they would let her not deviating from what they said so that she would not get in to trouble as other girls did and was shocked when she was cut. She said to her self how can they no who I am and what my personality and life really is if they don't give me that chance. I hope that you would give her the oppurtunity to send in a video

i think that you should make amntm for girls like 13 and over. that is my dream to be a model and there is 13 year old models so why not have one for us. i really want to become a model. so that is what i think and i love your show! i love you tyra!
