I didn't know that she was lying on the sidewalk. I had no idea that the girls were kicking her. I only found out the next day when I was allowed to see Amber in her own hotel room. Every time I think about that night, it literally makes me teary-eyed. I wish I would have been able to do something more. I wish there would have been a way that I could have better protected her.
