Brandi: You don't see the whole picture

I didn't really have a theme for my birthday party. My favorite color is purple, so we just decided to buy all purple decorations. I had the best time at the party. For the past two years I've celebrated my birthday by going out, so this year it was fun to have my whole family together. I actually do not remember what I wished for when I blew out the candles, if I had to guess I would say another car.

If I could have gotten anything for my birthday, it would be a 1966 mustang. That would have been a lot better than the CMR. LOL. OMG when I first realized the CMR was missing I was in shock. I honestly didn't believe anyone would want it.  Then I started thinking. If it's gone he'll have to get us a new car. LOL. How wrong was I?

When my dad showed up with the new and improved CMR I was happy. It still wasn't the car I wanted but it was better than nothing. Also it was purple and from my daddy, I really appreciated that he did something to make me happy.

I know a lot of people think that we are ungrateful and don't appreciate our dad but we do, more than others think. Everyone is on the outside looking in, so you don't see the whole picture. You only see what you are allowed to. We all love our dad very much. We all know we wouldn't have half of what we do or half of the opportunities we have without him. I think people shouldn't assume things, or pass judgment without knowing what they are talking about.
